Bulerias The Dancing Brolga Guitar Stand (Sold)
Bulerias is a blazing and energetic palo (form) of Flamenco. Dancers, singers and guitarists have the greatest opportunity to improvise and match the
rhythm of hand clapping, stamping feet, passionate yelling, mocking and rejoicing
in their freedom and passion for Flamenco.
Andrew Vivers is a highly accomplished Flamenco Guitarist and is now the
owner of Bulerias the Dancing Brolga Guitar Stand. His "Flamenco
Fire" group of performers were recently on tour in Queensland when this
picture was taken on stage.

The rugged burls of the exterior wood reflects the hard times and persecution that Gitanos (Flamenco
Gypsies) endured in Southern Spain, which is reflected in the Flamenco
piece of the same name. The picture of the new owner of this
guitar stand is Angie Marquis who is a professional Country and Western
singer and guitarist.

The guitar stand is named in honour of Reg Cooke, master Luthier of
Quiberon Instruments who recently
displayed it at the Brookfield show whre it won first place in woodworking.
This sentimental guitar is elegantly mounted on a carved Budgero root burl
stand.
