When it comes to selection of wood for Guy's sculpture, it is paramount that it has its own interesting and unique character.Searching for and admiring timber at The Stiks is a source of great enjoyment and inspiration for Guy, his family and friends. When exploring the forest with Guy, Dan noticed the twists, turns and rough exterior of a branch of a dead Flame She Oak tree at right, which he thought would have the makings of an interesting piece based upon the female form.Dan's selection is named in honour of his fiancee and now wife, Monisha, who is Guy and Jan's daughter.
