"Misanu" is named after a fast flowing creek that cascades down from the peak of Mt Victoria into the Kokoda valley of Papua, where Guy and his family lived for a number of years.

The inspiration for Guy's art comes from the rugged, twisted shapes of this rare Queensland outback timber, which combines well with the sensuous, curves of the nude female form.
Along with other pieces, this sculpture is exhibited in the foyer of the Burke Wills Hotel in the garden city of Toowoomba in the Darling Downs region of Queensland.
