Maids in Waiting is one of Guy's favourite pieces.
The dead root has reincarnated into  two beautiful  maids.

The hollow interior of this sculpture is polished to the same degree of finish as the exterior. 

The rough base of the root has been cleaned and retained as a contrast to the polished finish of the beautiful female form.
