This wall mounted carving is a gift to Dr Patrick Weinrauch in appreciation of his kindness and skill as an Orthopedic Surgeon.In August 2013 Guy's arthritic hip was surgically resurfaced by Patrick. gnarled burls was selected to represent the arthritis in Guy's limb. This
contrasts with the carved and finely sanded mahogany heart wood represents the polished surface of the new hip joint.
